Location is excellent. Right beside the station with trams and train links everywhere including other major towns and areas in Switzerland. The Airport Bus is just outside the station so very convenient getting to and from the airport. Remember to show your hotel booking confirmation if asked when taking the airport bus to hotel - hotel will then provide you with a free local travel pass (fab tram system) which includes discounts to many attractions. About 5/10 minutes walking distance to town and an array of outlets to eat at. Room was great except it had only one bedside light and cabinet, which wasn't the end of the world. Bed very comfy with tea/coffee provided. The bathroom was great with double shower and waterfall and handheld shower heads. Shampoo/conditioner/body lotion provided. Breakfast was perfect for us - cereal/yogurt/cheese/meats/fresh fruit/jams/honey/hot trays with eggs/beans/etc. Lovely fresh bread except not enough brown/malted bread which is what I eat but brown rolls were provided when the bread ran out. And staff are just fantastic - very helpful, professional and polite.

Sweets, water and fruit available 24/7 in reception area. Amazing breakfast.Lots of variety.The crusty bread was to die for. Bedroom was roomy, warm and comfortable with a lovely big bath. A small fridge and water included. Staff really helpful..they found me an electric kettle to make a proper (Irish) cup of tea. We got a 1pm checkout - a huge bonus and they offered to store our luggage for few hours between check out and airport bus departure time. Couldn't have asked for anything more.

This was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in! We appreciate all the advice from the receptionist and his generous and kind gesture of allowing us to check in 1 hour earlier. It is very much appreciated! We are very grateful! Such a customer-oriented approach, highlighted by the comfortable beds, soft bathrobes with slippers in the room, the wonderful view from the window, festive lanterns on the balcony railings, a view of the spectacular fireworks on New Year's Eve, an extremely delicious breakfast and friendly polite ladies in the restaurant every early morning- all of them made our stay in Hotel truly unforgettable. Euler Basel Hotel deserves 20 stars!

From the Euler, its a 2-5 minute walk to trams or buses, AND using Google Maps, traveling anywhere is a snap, So, there may be hotels a bit cheaper, but the convenience to transportation is great. ALSO, catch bus 50 to an from the airport-catch it 100 yards from the hotel. AND, if you are trying to eat cheaply, there are several low cost restaurants and food service options at the SBB train station. Also great FREE coffee in the room - if you run out of coffee, just ask for more at the desk.

Wow the location of this hotel is amazing, right by the train station and tram/bus stops. Lots of places to eat close by. The hotel is very attractive with friendly staff. They have complimentary orange juice and apples in the lobby which is a lovely touch. The beds were super comfortable with soft linens. Nice coffee machine in the rooms with complimentary lindt chocolate 😍 we got a really good price for our stay was ideal for our early morning flight as the bus goes right from the front to the airport. Strongly recommend this hotel
